Spoke to soon...

I spoke too soon yesterday ... the cable went down right after my post and hasn't been back yet. Our internet connection is via cable - so posting may be erratic for a bit. In fact, I did not think the previous post actually posted and I was rather surprised to find it here this morning. Many are still without power, including my mother and at least one of our technicians. We have power at the office (and internet connection) and are working a normal schedule, but not doing normal work. There is lots to clean up, both here and at home.

My poor garden looks destroyed, but I think its just a little worse for wear and is nothing that a little time and care wont fix. The lanai on the other hand - done in. D and I will be trying our hand at screen building ... in truth a project that needed to be done anyway due to the age of the enclosure. I'll be hanging chicken wire tonight so poor Libby can go outside - she just sits at the door and cries.
