Wilma...

The power has been off several times but comes back on fairly quickly. Wind gusts are at 60mph according to the tv - higher is expected soon as Wilma is coming ashore as I type. The tv is very entertaining, local stations have dispatched every reporter they have to all corners of our area. Somehow the local sports caster pulled the short straw and is on Marco Island, where the eye has landed. The fool is standing out in it, as debris goes past, screaming into his mic. Behind him are at least three other reporters doing the exact same thing. Somewhere, there mammas are shaking their heads and sighing, and wondering just what they did wrong.

OK. I was thinking that very same thing this morning - watching Al Roker on USA Today - why do the weather man actually need to be IN the weather?

Glad you are still holding up OK.

Hi - this is your back tack buddy! I've finished your tote and have some goodies to fill it with. I was wondering, though, if I should mail it this week or hold off a bit until your weather clears up. Hmmm... Since I can't reveal my identity to you, perhaps you could include some hints about this for me in your next post? Thanks!
